2 Your vehicle and keys ready.

3 A smartphone charged to at least 25%.

4 A U.S. penny (for tire tread measurement).

5 A way to prop your phone or someone to assist in checking brake lights.

Before Your Appointment

-
Be with your vehicle and ensure all seat belts are buckled.
-

-
Have your U.S. penny handy for the inspection.
-

-
Turn off Bluetooth on your phone to avoid interruptions.

1 Your inspector will complete their portion of the form.

2 The completed form will be scanned and emailed to you.

Virtual Vehicle Inspection Requirements

To complete a virtual vehicle inspection with VIP Mobile Oil Change, please ensure the following before booking:
1. Verify Your Battery's Age:
-
Your vehicle's battery should be less than 5 years old.
-

-
To check, pop your hood and locate the sticker on your battery. For example, if the sticker reads "9/21," your battery is under 5 years old.
-

For Batteries Over 5 Years Old:

-
If your battery is older than 5 years and you’d still like to proceed with the virtual inspection, you’ll need a battery test.
-

-
Visit a local auto parts store, such as AutoZone or O'Reilly’s, where they can test your battery for free.
-

-
If the battery test confirms your battery is in good condition, take a picture of the test results and send it to us via email at
-
-
vipmobileoil24@gmail.com or text message at (209) 244-6752 prior to your appointment.
2. Provide Clear Photos of Your
Brake Pads:
-
We must be able to clearly see your brake pads for the inspection.
-

-
Use your camera phone to take a photo of your brake pad through the rims with the flash on.
-

-
Send the photos via email at vipmobileoil24@gmail.com or text message at (209) 244-6752 prior to your appointment.
-

If You Cannot Capture a Clear Photo Through the Rims:

-
To proceed with the inspection, you will need to remove your tires and take a clear picture of the brake pads.
-

-
Send these photos via email at vipmobileoil24@gmail.com or text message at (209) 244-6752 prior to your appointment.
-

-
Please note that some vehicles have both front and rear brake pads, while others may have only front or only rear brake pads.
-

Thank you for following these steps to ensure a smooth and efficient virtual inspection process!
